Redcapmon has practically no complexity to his character or actions; a fact of which he is most proud. He's blunt, though never purposefully rude, and is willing to provide spiky support to his mates simply for the fun of the hunt and the thrill of being wicked.

That's not to say he's at all professional; that's obvious from his choice of attire. He's just a Digimon who's more than comfortable with his role in life and takes full advantage of it. He doesn't ask for reward nor acknowledgement, and in his own brutish way is one of the most loyal and trustworthy beings in the Digital World.
